2001 BMW 330CI HPDE Autocross dedicated Track Car, Clean CA. title, 2nd Owner, Sorted E46 car with several upgrades to have car track ready. Ready to go in SCCA, NASA, & BMWCCA classes today. Will pass tech for any non wheel to wheel racing event. Great for car for anyone getting into racing or moving up in class. Nothing wrong with car, has been garage kept since I've had it . Latest participation since pandemic was 2021 Chuckwalla and 2022 Auto Club Speedway HPDE. I Have not had the time to drive events so I have put it up for sale. This is a track car not show car. Normal wear and for 21 year old car. Not perfect cosmetically, but will hold its own against M3's. Great for Autocross sorted it out on those before track testing. no late fees on registration, non opt since 08/2022. 20K invested in project.
Drive train: 2004 e46 330I engine swap (Car Crib Orange Co. with receipts) 116K on motor @ time of replacement. No Fluid leaks of any kind. All seals and gaskets changed @ swap. Clutch assembly replaced, Engine has about 5-6K since R&R. Spark plugs and oil change. 5 speed manual transmission, E46 3:46 gear ratio rear differential. Cold Air intake, custom race tune ECU, new alternator, stock aluminum radiator. estimated horse power 275 with upgrades.
Wheels and Tires: Motegi 18" race wheels with Bridgestone Fire hawk staggered street track tire 75% treads remaining. 225 front 245 rear tires, Motor Sport hardware Lugs and nuts conversion, wheel alignment and balancing.
Brakes: EBC yellow street/track pads, stainless steel brake lines, Stop tech slotted and drill rotors, race brake fluid, 330 front calipers, rotors and brackets, 325 rear pads and rotors
Suspension: BC racing fully adjustable 3 series coilovers, E46 M3 spring rates, height, rebound and compression, camber and caster adjustments. BMP strut bars
Seats and brackets/4 point harness: Bride (knock-off) tuner seats with Cipher 4 point harness bolted to stock BMW attachment points on chassis. Planted seat brackets, seats and belts approved for HPDE & Autocross events. 3 point OEM still attached and working for local driving.
Tune and Intake/Exhaust: Aluminum heat wrapped Cold Air Intake, brings cold air from outside engine bay. AFE cat back full exhaust 15-20 horsepower increase. custom tune with launch @ 3000 rpms, fuel mapping increase, 7000 rpm red line
Shift Components: UUC weight alum shift knob, Pro1 Performance alum short shifter, BMW E46 M3 suede steering wheel, all switches work on wheel and horn, cruise control
Aero Body parts: Aluma Lite 2 piece front splitter w/adjustable quick disconnect brackets bolted to frame (quick removal for transport or track), Tegiwa drag adjustable E46 track spec wing from UK, Fancy Wide rear alum diffuser UK. M3 e46 painted front bumper with M3 attachment, bumper quick removal.
Lighting: Aftermarket Clear head lights, corner lights and side markers clear. OEM original lights on rear
Chassis: 2001 BMW E46 325CI, 206K on chassis, power windows & doors, all stock seats removed for weight. Driver and Passenger seat remain (Bride). Sunroof still in car/working. original paint, carbon fiber wrap on hood, race stickers, tinted windows, radio and screen work, straight body no dents.
